Make A Difference
How Can I Help?
All of the programs at Literacy Now are offered at no cost to the children. We are totally dependent on the gracious contributions of individuals, churches and corporations, as well as grant funds to provide all of our program needs. We realize how many incredible organizations and great causes there are in the Houston area alone and hope that you will choose to support the children served by Literacy Now.
With Members Give, giving has never been so easy. Members Give Online allows you to make a donation using your American Express® Card or, if you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program, you can redeem your points for a donation.

The Horton Society
THERE IS LEARNING TO BE DONE! THEY NEED HELP TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. WILL YOU BE THE ONE?
Please join our monthly giving program – The Horton Society – as we set them on their way. For just a dollar a day, your tax-deductible monthly contribution* will go towards supporting our Reading Intervention program that provides individualized, small-group reading interventions for at-risk students in grades K – 2. Currently, Literacy Now is serving 450 students annually in ten HISD Title 1 schools.
As a member of The Horton Society, you will “hear” great things on “who” you are helping. You will receive quarterly updates on the progress of our students and the places they are going. You will also be featured on our web site.
So how about it? Click this link. These kids are worth it – don’t you think?
*You may cancel your monthly contribution at any time by contacting Julie Gardner at email@example.com
