Parent Partnership Program
In addition
to the students, we believe it is crucial to develop a strong relationship with
the parents so they feel a sense of community and an investment in our programs.
We believe that parents & guardians play a pivotal role in helping children
achieve their goals. In order to make any real, lasting chance in the lives of
our youth, their families must be engaged as partners in their education.

Steps 2 Success:
program also includes a substantial buy-in and participation from
the parents of our students. Parents have the opportunity to attend
four workshops throughout the year designed to
equip them with the tools needed to support their child’s education
and development, as well as to reinforce the skills taught in this
program. Parents
also have the opportunity to chaperone field trips and attend
program Open House events.

Apartment Outreach Events:
Fun evening events that include dinner, games, prizes and a DJ are
hosted in area apartment complexes, bringing the school to
the parents, hoping to make a connection between home and school
which will ease the way for future involvement. Parents are able to
interact with school staff in an environment where they feel totally
comfortable . . . their own “back yards”
