Dear Friends,
It is with incredible gratitude mixed with sadness that I announce a major change in our staff. June 1st will be Kelly Bukolt’s last day with Making It Better. Kelly has dedicated herself to Making It Better – our children, our staff, our board, our donors and our volunteers – for just a few months shy of 10 years!
Kelly has served with excellence from our very early days and has been a HUGE part of our success! She and I have been joined at the hip for almost 10 years, from schlepping chairs and tables at apartment outreach events to her execution of eight highly successful Magnums galas, four Guild luncheons and countless other fundraising and special events in between. I cannot begin to adequately express how much she means to me personally and to everyone at Making It Better. She is a rare treasure, a true blessing and is deeply loved. Although we will miss her terribly, we are excited for her as she begins her new adventure and know she will always be a part of us, as she is woven into the fabric of Making It Better.
We have some great candidates under consideration to fill the Director of Development position and expect to make an announcement of that hire in June or early July. We appreciate the support EACH of you provides and are excited to continue this amazing journey with you as we strive to level the playing field for our kids!
